Miller also contributes "Red Sun," which manages to combine the industrial sound with a heavier metal vibe that works in its favor. The pieces sets the tone for most of the soundtrack, most of which is comprised by an old school, 90s-style industrial rock sound. "Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance" starts off with the synth-fueled piece, "Rules of Nature (Platinum Mix)," sung by Jason Miller (of occasional Godhead collaboration). I'm pleased to say that your feelings about a Platinum-style hack, slash, beat 'em up game featuring a cyborg ninja aside, this is one amazing soundtrack. I feel it's fair to admit I've not been a fan of the "Metal Gear" series since Raiden was introduced and I approached the "Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (Vocal Tracks)" with great skepticism.
"Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance" is receiving solid reviews across the board for both fans of the series and fans of Platinum Games, with most people noting the flashier, more cinematic tone of the game. When Platinum announced they would be brining a Raiden-centric "Metal Gear" game to the masses, fans knew they were going to be in for a change of pace.
